Hi Sara: Thank you so very much. Wait till you taste the Orange Cream Sauce. Remember you can do this ahead of time and just gently reheat the French toast and sauce. At this point, I have no signings scheduled but I will be teaching a class at Kitchen Conservatory on June 20th. I usually get there around 5:30. Also, try to get the cinnamon bread at Dierberg's bakery. That is where I found it and it is perfect for this recipe. You might be interested in my new blog, Pastries Like a Pro which should be up in a matter of weeks. It is based on what I learned at the bakery - recipes, techniques, so much more. I will post a notice on this blog when it goes up.

This is such a great recipe. The cinnamon bread is genius! This sheds a whole new light on stuffed French toast. I'm having a bridal shower brunch and this will be perfect.

Thank you so much for coming up with this and sharing it.

I bought your book, The New Pastry Cook and was wondering if you will have any signings for your new book?

Hi Hilda: you can forward this anywhere you want. I love to have my recipes shared. It is so easy, it's ridiculous. As to the pans, Linda Behrends asked me the same question about a sauté pan once. They are both the original All Clad and has to be 30 years or more old. I saved and saved and bought one piece at a time. I love it. As to keeping it clean, Mike is a nut about my pots and pans. He spends all kind of time making sure they look perfect. Does the same with my half sheet pans! Thanks for commenting.

Thanks so much Jaci. Kent was a hoot today. He usually likes whatever I do but I have never seen him like it THIS much. It was a lot of fun.

And Happy Mother's Day to you.
